With reference to your despatch No. 1019
(F 5877/835/10) of December 14th, 1925, requesting me
to call the attention of Sir Skinner Turner to the value set by the Government of India upon the existing power of dealing with seditious Indians in China (namely, Articles 79 and 80 of the China Order-in-Council, 1925), I have the honour, at the request of Sir Skinner Turner, to enquire what powers exist in India of dealing with seditious Chinese there. It might strengthen his hands in dealing with Chinese Criminal Law if he could be informed as to this.
